Psychotherapy can give us deep insight into what is limiting our experience of joy in life, but, in my opinion, its major benefit is in TRANSFORMING us into people who can experience that joy. Insight can only go so far, and psychotherapy should be more than just an intellectual endeavor. I strive to integrate both analysis AND experiential processing into my sessions, using approaches shown to be most effective in studies. Psychotherapy can be hard work, and my goal is to walk with you toward the light at the end of the tunnel – not just theorize about it.
